Hello, I'm Akela Talamasca. You may remember me from such blogs as "E.coli: The Playful Menace" and "Lemon Meringue: Heart of Darkness". Today I'm here to talk about Danielle Ferguson and Erbo Evans's new club, The Gin Rummy.
Made up to hearken back to the speakeasy clubs of the Roaring 20's, the walls of the Gin Rummy are adorned with art of the era (more photos after the jump), and decor to match. The ambiance is nice and moody, and enjoys a fine view of the nearby lake.
The Gin Rummy recently had its grand opening on the 24th of September. SL musicians Frogg Marlowe and Jaycatt Nico had the stage that evening, and by all accounts it was a night to remember. Enjoy a trip to yesteryear at the Gin Rummy; bring your spats!The foyer:
