Clubs: Street's

This deserves a special apology to Street Granville: I've been meaning to post about this club for a couple of months now, but hadn't been able to schedule the time to get a proper look. As late as it is, however, I'm glad this is finally out. Street's eponymous club is having its grand reopening at 8 PM, Saturday the 21st, though this date may be altered for last-minute changes. Contact Brooke Dutton for updates!

Visually, it's gorgeous: there's an ice/under the sea theme that looks wonderful ... slightly reminiscent also of Superman's Fortress of Solitude. The space feels vast, and will boast live DJs spinning requestable tunes. Set directly inside the entranceway will be gaming tables (poker to start with, possibly expandable later). The floors all reflect, with a slight wavery look that recalls water; I'm told the moon is sometimes reflected thereupon.

While it is an adult-rated club, the theme will be more seduction than sex, and private rooms are available upstairs for private dancing or spending time with a loved one. Brooke mentions a Hallowe'en event in the planning, so keep your ears to the ground. This club holds great potential, and I'll be sure to revisit it once it opens! From just within the entrance:
